and yet another playdoh recipe

There have to be hundreds of playdoh recipes out there, and I'm sure that that is an understatement.

So I'm throwing this one out there, as well!

Make this with your littles today.  This is a perfect way to start 'cooking' with your kids if you're a bit nervous about actually ingesting something the kids have had a hand in making.  ha ha.

What you need

3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups salt
3 cups water
2 Tbs vegetable oil
1 Tbs  cream of tarter
food coloring, however much you desire

Throw all ingredients into a large-ish sauce pan.  Start stirring with a wooden spoon till you can't stir it anymore.  It will start coming away from the sides.  Cool till it can be handled.

It might even allow you time to get all that laundry folded that you left in your basket for the last few days.  Not that I would know anything about that [cough, cough].

This stuff keeps forever in a ziplock plastic bag.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in with the love (and the hate!) of Peeps.  The results were inconclusive, with it being split down the middle as to whether or not there should be a national band on the sweet treat or whether or not they should be elevated to gourmet-status.

You all are so fun!  Thanks for making my day.  It's all about simple pleasures.  {{grin}}
