A little over nine weeks to go

Just in case you were wondering, it's a little over nine weeks till Christmas day.  That may seem like oodles and gobs of time, but, as you probably very well know, time flies when you're having fun.

We live in a teeny tiny valley where shopping choices are limited to upscale mountain boutiques, the Thrifty Store or Walmart.  While the boutiques are super cute, they're just not within the budget.  Thrifty is wonderful and I frequent it quite often, but there's no guarantee I'll find what I'm looking for.  And Walmart is a necessary evil.  I'm sorry, but it's true.  I hate that place.  The rage starts to mount everytime I have to step foot in that door, but I do step foot there every week because we need things like toilet paper.  Who doesn't?

So, given our limited local resources, short of a visit to Denver, which requires a nice trek over a few mountain passes, I've learned to shop the net.  It's quite liberating, actually.  I started with Christmas when we lived in New York and haven't looked back.

Snapfish has a few sales going on right now.  Calendars are 50% off for the next week.  Photo books are buy one get one free.  I think you can get the coupon code if you sign up, but if you can't, let me know and I'll send it to you!

Happy shopping!
