UFOs and Too-Long-Hair

My first post of the New Year!

My boy bought a flying UFO saucer thing with some Christmas money. He received a really fun remote control car of the same brand, so we thought this UFO toy might be just as fun. Warning for you as a possible future buyer: It stinks. There's no control and it gets stuck to nearly anything. On it's first flight, it flew directly into his sister's doll's hair, promptly twisting itself and the doll's hair into a knotted mess. Tweezers and some nail scissors (not to mention some serious patience on my part) did the trick fairly well.

Unfortunately, the next day brought another crash landing. This one was a bit funnier, though.

And despite the look on his face, my baby really thought this was quite funny. A tug and a few tangles later, his hair had a better fate than the doll's hair.

ROTFL!! That's hilarious. Sounds like something that would happen in my house.

ROFL - that look on his little face!
I'm glad it came out better than the doll! (We will stay far away from that one - especially given Julie's long hair!) ;-)

Joseph got a similar helicopter last year. Unfortunately it showed me that I need to vacuum more, because after a couple of landings on the floor it WAS full of strands of Julie's hair which wound around the rotor and permanently disabled it. :-S
(Darn, huh?)

No more remote toys for us - LOL.
