'Twas the weekend before Thanksgiving

And all through the house.........

  • We're cleaning, packing and getting ready to move to our new spot.
  • Working on a homemade 3-d Turkey that the Kindergartners provide every year for the Thanksgiving Day Breakfast at our school.
  • Planning our own Thanksgiving Day menu; simple because we'll be moving on Black Friday. Scratch this--we've been invited to be with friends!!
  • Wondering why every moving van shows happy, smiling faces while boxes are being packed and moved. Moving is a lot of work!
  • Listening to "Heart and Soul" played incessantly over and over on the baby grand piano. Baby grand's are really loud. (**Note to self: teach Emma a new song.)
  • Watching the snow fall, natural and man made, on the mountains.
  • Watching snowboarders and skiers fly down icy runs at 30 mph. Crazies.
  • Gearing up for Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for!
What are you doing this weekend before Thanksgiving?

Oooooh - I would LOVE to get a baby grand....drool! (Although I don't think I could ever give up my Mom's piano.)

Just a might not want to teach her "Chopsticks". That's just as annoying...says one who speaks from experience. ;-)

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Europe, in Hungary :o(, but I think it's a very nice and lovely tradition! Being together with the family or friends and give thanks to God for everything: it is wonderful!
