A Sure Sign of Fall

At first glance, you wouldn't know that summer is slowly relinquishing it's grip to fall. The sun is still up early, down late. But not as early or late as it used to be.

The temperatures are still in the 80s. But we're getting frost at night.

The trees are still clinging to their greeness. But the Aspens and Cottonwoods have yellow in their tops.

And this.

This is a sure sign of fall approaching. The sedum is changing. It may look like a pretty pink flower in the height of summer, but it's really the harbinger of autumn.

Doesn't that sound ominous?
