Nana and Papa came for a visit

Adam's parents came for a visit this past week. It was so great to see them!

I'm not exactly sure how we managed it, but we talked Nana into going up the gondola. The views up there are spectacular.

At the top there are a few activities. My girl got on the bungee-trampoline jump and did a flip for the first time!

My baby tried the ponies. Can't you tell how much he's loving it?

My boy could be talked into nothing. So he dug in the dirt.

My boy decided he wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday, so we piled in the car and drove to Colorado Springs. We went to the cliff dwellings and the zoo. We saw this really cool Ring dance. This guy was so fast!

At the zoo we got to pet a baby wallaby. This little fella is an albino and was so cute with his squinty red eyes. Kind of looks like a bunny, doesn't he?

Our last stop was the Fossil Beds. It was really pretty, but I think the kids sort of envisioned a skeletal Jurrasic Park of sorts. Fortunately, sunshine and clear, blue skies never cease to lift spirits!
Thanks, Nana and Papa, for the wonderful visit! Looking forward to next time!
